why why why why why, and this has been this way ever since i started flying, does Air Force One go into civilian airports and not military airports???

The end of my trip is going to get goofed up tomorrow.

I will say this though, Air Force One, or Sam I Am or whatever they called it, used to do touch and goes at PHF 20 years ago when I was learning to fly. That was cool. I missed every time the 747 came in but I saw everyone else pictures. I did see the old Air Force One 707 do low approaches. My dad says he still sees AF1 from time to time.

Dude. That is the funniest pic you've ever posted on here. Not only does it have a Lake Minnetonka (MSP) tie-in, it is absolutely perfect for describing our own "lovable" codgers that are constantly at each others throats.

*No offense intended to the lovable old codgers. Just having a little pre-AE closing fun :D

Totally incorrect. We fly a lot more hard hours per month than FDX or UPS.

I know you couldn't care less about strengthening scope unless it is given to us as a no cost item. But if you're going to continue to make management's case for them, you need to at least know that we're far more productive than our brothers at FDX and UPS.

Carl

Carl,

When you have time, would you explain how the number of hours my butt is in the seat has anything to do with MY productivity as an employee/cost center/pilot of any given airline ? I'm pretty sure a FDX/UPS bubba will generate more revenue for their company than our legacy brothers in a similar crew position.......on a month to month basis, regardless of hard hours flown respectively....I'm pretty sure you know this. Working more/harder does not equal smarter/more productive.

Regards,
BG

I don't think she knew how much you guys still care for her :D

ATLDC9B is looking a lot less popular. I'm 11,500ish and it's only got 5/3/1 senior to me with 27 total bidders. I assume many of those have a % filter so they only take it if they can be senior.

Of course none of that takes into account the multitude of ATL and MSP MD's that are being generated on this bid.

I'm pulling the trigger if I can be senior enough (whatever that buys you on the DC-9 :p )

It wasn't me... promise. I might give the weather and flight time, but that's it.

Cool pilot story.

Once upon a time, a pilot asked a beautiful princess, "Will you marry me?"

The princess said, "No!" And the pilot lived happily ever after and flew jets all over the world and drove hot cars and banged skinny long-legged big-titted flight attendants and hunted and fished and went to topless bars and dated women half his age and drank whiskey and Captain Morgan and never heard *****ing and never paid child support or alimony and kept his house and guns and ate cold spam, potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he was frickin' cool as hell and he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up........ The end.

I zigged when I should have zagged. He's my hero (after Newk and Gloopy).:D
