Tebow is the newK of the new NFL overtime. Yeah I said it. Whatcha gonna do about it?

Oh, and about the pictures being deleted last night. I know we used to leave those up, but apparently the fuzzy line has been moved. Sorry for the unexpected change in routine on here.

To the mods, I understand your point I guess, but why wasn't the DPA idea used? Make a post with a warning for everyone then deal with people who don't listen.
The way it is set up, every Mod has the autonomy to moderate they way they want. It is done this way for many reasons. I give a general warning when things are crossing the lines, but some do not. It is my guess they handed out the infractions as a message to the posters of this thread.

Actually ACL, it wasn't a "they," it was a "he." We know he's new and we're pulling his chain a little. Some of the warnings, like mine for instance, were silly. Its ok. If he oversteps his authority and drives us off of APC, it'll be APCs loss and we'll find someplace else to go. Personally, I haven't seen anything tawdry or unprofessional take place recently. Peastain can go away, but other than that, I think we have a handle on it.

So here's my thoughts in this scenario. I checked my schedule after 10am today. There was nothing on it. I get assigned a trip at 4pm while on rest. My thoughts are I don't have to acknowledge anything while on rest and I did the 9 hour prior schedule check.

Since this rotation was not placed on my schedule prior to the 9 hours (10am) I revert to long call at 7pm. If they were to call and notify me between 7pm and 8pm then I would be on the hook. Would anyone agree or disagree?
This stuff is complicated because some stuff is laid out clearly and other stuff comes from including other parts of the contract and even other parts are "9 hours prior to this or that".

I think you are correct - you checked your schedule within 9 hrs of the end of your "x-day", nothing there, so you're just long call at 7pm.

I did call it a 9 hour check, it's not at 9 hours that you have to check it, it's that they have to put on your schedule by 9 hours prior to the end of your rest. If there's nothing there, you're home free. You don't *have* to check it until 2 hrs after your rest ends(9pm in your case) but whatever they assigned could report in your scenario as early at 3 hours after your requierd check, ie, midnight (7pm + 2 hrs to check + 3 hours to report).

ACL,

What Buzz said. Lets be honest here......APC lives on advertising and that is based on readers and posters. This thread is record setting because we all are friends standing around and talking in a bar. Some discussions are business, some are ball busting and some get out of hand but we pull our "friends" back in.

I suggest you forward this little tiff (I've been in school and obviously missed the action cuz I haven't been flagged.....yet) up the chain. Ban a few of us and this thread comes to a stop and so does the ad money.

I'll be as plain as I can. If this isn't a place I can come and enjoy the friendships I'm outta here, and I'll encourage as many others as I can to do the same.

Ferd
