One small piece of good news that in no way overcomes the photo policy.

Starting the end of the month, the 747 and A330 fleets will start a "test program" where you can log your takeoffs and landings via ACARS.

I remember that was a nice feature NWA had on the A320... then we lost it after the merger. The only TO/LGDs that are logged now is when I am close to a required box session.

The flight attendant was telling me about her eleven year old cat with a heart condition. She just spent $5000 at the vet. I was trying my best to be sympathetic. The captain came over and she repeated her story. He blurted out "why didn't you just shoot the thing?"

So he said this?

True dat. Plus for those customers that only carry on their bags, we are even cheaper and more cut throat since we back out the otherwise included cost of checked bags *some* airlines build into every ticket automatically.

Although as soon as I sell my house here I plan to move to Minneapolis and then my perspective will change!

Welcome to MSP!:) Not a bad place to live, flat and not as pretty as Alaska or warm and tropical as Hawaii, but it beats trying to commute on oversold flight. Plus, it's been a warm winter...OPPS! I just checked, and it's -9F this morning.

FYI: I'm movin' to CHS...:D

Yep, bottom 20 reserve pilots in each seat will sit SC almost exclusively.

How do you figure? I didn't see anything that changes the randomness of SC assignment?

Guess you have never spent anytime out on the Left Coast ;) Great sunsets out here......I just need to cut a few more trees down to see mine!

Love the Pacific Northwest and the SAN area. SFO is not too bad, but Southern LA is not for me. I would move to SEA tomorrow but the MRS is not quite there yet.

A simple solution to a simple problem - SWA:D

But really if he was original SW, wouldn't he say "why don't you let me come over and shoot the thing?"
