Do we get paid for rotations in the shadow period after training?

You'll get paid for anything on your schedule. You just won't fly them until after OE.

Does the credit not show on the time card?

Don't know the answer to that one.

Mine didn't show correctly till the end of the month. It had BOTH the shadow trip and the OE trip and I thought I was going to be RICH:D

But, of course they figured it out..........you will get the OE trip or the shadow trip (which ever is greater - assuming they touch).

Clear as mud?

Yes and no. Short call start times are a big wild card. Last week the most senior guy in the bucket had a raw of 10 due to 2 short calls. He was the 3am guy and got called at 4am for a 7am show for a 5 day trip. There were several junior guys on short call who were also good for a 5 day trip but their SC contact time didn't start until 8-10am so guess who got the trip, yup, the most senior guy. I could give you a dozen more examples where a senior guy will fly before a junior guy but I am late to meet my girl for happy hour. Again, bucket is just a tie breaker if all else is equal.

Youre right in the sense that SC is a wild card. When SC assignments become seniority based it will be less wild. But some swear if you have AM you never get called, some say PM never gets called, but there is no way to know what will transpire in a day.

I get called on both. SC is SC and if there are no WS or Out of base WS you will get called.

I'm looking at a layover at the (deleted) Courtyard. In the comments of the rotation it says "overblock status." What does this mean? Should I bring some bedbug fumigation paraphernalia?

Well, then you might as well delete my entire original post. Thanks for the help.

But by all means, any college football blabber is completely legit.
