Well, I guess we can agree on at least one thing.

Okay I missed the memo. What do donuts have to do with the DPA?

That has nothing to do with making it cheaper though...

Generally speaking ALK is overvalued at their current price. Splitting the shares will allow the price to dilute. There are many that look at ALK and have figured that their stock price pre split should be around 52-55 a share. Companies generally spit for two reasons, one they are at the top of their price point, or they expect it to go up. ALK is growing but I agree that their stock is way over valued.

Also in a acquisition a 8-1 or 9-1 stock swap looks absurd. A 3-1 or 4-1 is much more logical.

It's become a politically correct code word to allow discussion of DPA on the DALPA Forum without violating the terms and conditions of the forum, as interpreted by the forum moderators. It got started when DPA had a "push week" in the ATL pilot lounge and served donuts. I wasn't there. But I heard tsquare ate several dozen! :D

If I remember from speaking with him TC said he wouldn't go to the NMB without 60% of the pilot group submitting cards. Got a way to go before he hits that.

I flew with a push crew guy last trip, and he echoed the 60% number.

Are you sure you're not management?

Maybe I misunderstood the meaning of your comment about ACL and "his DALPA buddies"... Care to enlighten me?
