8:30am flight has 10 open in first & 15 open in the back for 25 open seats. There are 15 total non revs to include 2 buddy pass riders.
9:49am flight has 6 open in first & 15 open in the back for 21 open seats. 2 non revs listed to include 1 buddy pass rider.
Looks like you should make both flights.

I guess T has taken Carl off his ignore list.

Just wanted to vent somewhere, so here it is... &*#^$* scheduling called me twice in the middle of the night! Is that against our contract at all? They called me at 2:15 am from a restricted number and left a voicemail, and again at 6 am from the normal number and left a voicemail for a trip that starts at 3:15. That is so inappropriate to wake me up twice in the middle of the night for something I wasn't contractually required to acknowledge until noon! Argh....

Since being domesticated in my category, I can attest to the above statement as being true. Domestic/International theatre flying each have their own particular difficulties. The funny thing is though that the manipulation of the aircraft is easier the bigger it gets.. sorry, but that's true. You have to admit that 88driver hangs it out far more than you or I do in a given 8 hour period. I do not consider getting a clearance from Gander all that difficult, but I am betting that 88driver is way more physically worn out at the end of a 5 leg day hubbin and spokin in +TRW weather than either you or I upon arriving at NRT or FRA... But I agree that each has it's own risks and skill requirements.. I just cannot justify in my little mind that yours is sufficiently more difficult as to warrant as much more money as you are currently getting.. But I guess because it has always been done that way...

I'm on long call reserve, which gives me a minimum of 9 hours to respond to a trip. I often sleep 9 hours, so if I shut my phone off I would risk missing that and also don't want to be surprised when I wake up that I have to be at the airport in a couple hours. never had them call be twice in the middle of the night before, usually it is one phone call.
This list is stagnant, I have moved backwards every bid in the last 4 years. The time to save money and have it compound is as early as you can. This BS about, "one day you will be senior", worked in the Defined Benefit days, not in the days of mergers, contractions, code sharing and econoic uncertainty. It's time for (maybe, cant quite commit yet) one payrate for captains and one for F/O's. Out of a list of over 12,000, how may pilots are flying 777's and 747's? How many captain seats?
I am a pilot who was hired young (11 years ago) and will retire (health and company withstanding) in the top 20. We will need strong scope on both ends of the spectrum. From RJ's to the biggest equipment. I imagine the majority of pilots would make more $ in the long run with a change in the way our pay scale works. In sted of a few pilots at the top making the most money, we can bring up the majority even if we have to bring down the top pay a little.(all this after a hefty % restoration in the next contract)
Please forgive the spelling and gramatical errors..
