You know exactly why they are at the top of the payscale... it is not because they are good negotiators.. or that management loves them... you know EXACTLY why they are there.

And BTW, didn't there used to be a thread where ya'll could go bloviate about the donuts? Why don't you resurrect that sorry thread and go there and cajole each other...

Are you satisfied with DALPA's status quo?

I really don't care who has the biggest **** ******* (that was "bank account" just in case you were wondering). I only care that we are compensated properly and have opportunity for advancement. That's not happening now, and it needs to be corrected (a very large correction). Looking at SWA pay and scope is only a means to an end for us because it bolsters our case for the type of correction we need and should be able to expect.

I'm a competitive person, but I just don't see compensation as a competition. SHOW ME THE MONEY... and I don't care what anyone else makes.

BS.... Really? All you ever talk about is how you want a bigger W2 than SWA... that it's all about the W2... and somehow that doesn't translate as caring what anybody else makes? But let's say what you are NOW saying is true. If DALPA comes in with a TA that is under SWA, are you gonna be happy? Really?

Sounds pretty silly, doesn't it?

News flash: the company won't offer it. DALPA is going to have to pony up, earn those cushy perks, and ruffle some feathers to produce results.

I say again: stop rolling over for the company and refusing to hold yourselves accountable for this ridiculous "constructive engagement." Or DALPA's gone.

Just when I thought you couldn't post something more ludicrous than the last thing you posted... Thanks for not disappointing

I once owned a big watch when I was learning to fly though.

I'm still wearing the same Citizen Wingman that I bought in 1991. Works great, and whenever I check the time is is never off by more than 5-10 seconds... I just wish I could get it rebuilt, it is all beat up. The date stopped in 1998, so I have to set it on some other year in order to get the day-date to match the current, but even I can remember what year it is...

By that, what do you mean? I have no idea to what "status quo" you are referring

Im going to be selfish for a second here. As long as the next contract is able to afford me this "Cigarette Boat" and I am able to save for retirement, then I am a "YES" voter:D

TEN

Dude that thing probably has 1350's in it, and they are $200K each from Merc. Contract won't matter, you are in the wrong line of work bro-
