Look into the "vacation any" option from the nnp. Basically it means if you have vacation in a month, you give them the option to build you a normal schedule and then fill-in the vacation days on whatever off-days you have left over. I know it was popular on the north side, but it seems to border on selling vacation to me.
this is a great idea, instead of holding the line on pay increases to get the money we want we can just work more!!! that will teach um! |

I called my reps yesterday and gave them an earful. I wanted to be sure they couldn't say they hadn't been given any negative feedback.
I told them that what had been presented to date seemed to be overall concessionary. One of them asked me to wait to see the total product before making my final judgement. He indicated that there would be some other developments that would offset some of the concessionary impressions. I indicated that it would have to be a really big offset. I wasn't in the mood for much in the way of concessions. I did get the impression that they were very engaged and did possess a healthy dose of skepticism. Be sure to call your rep. I definitely felt that they were interested in hearing from us. |

There's an idea for a 'secret handshake' right there! Instead of the Sting movie, nose flick, just hold one hand out, palm up, in a cupped shape, as if you were going to lift a massive underboob, maybe flex the fingers and thumb toward each other, quickly, like you're squeezing a boobie to see if it's 'real'! :D:eek:;) When caught staring, my wife will say to me, "Those are Fake!" I would say it's concessionary due to a pilot having to give up their vacation to hold a line that they could have held otherwise. It is not the pilots fault that we have some very small categories with mostly long trips in them and the pilot should not be required to give up planning their vacation in advance in order to not get stuck on RES.

She's being as passive/agressive as she can trying to tell you that she's interested in that and wants to share the experience with you and is calling on you to use your skills, which she fell for and therefore assumes every woman will, to make it happen.
