That is correct. Its essentially the sick leave program we had before chapter 11 however the max then was 300 hours a year.

After mixing up the Cubi Point and Subic Bay O-Clubs (I joined the Navy just a couple of years too late), here's link to Seeking Alpha's article admonishing us to buy DAL:

Blue Angel practice at Naval Air Station Pensacola, has anyone here ever gone? I have the dates and time and where to go, but anyone have any other insight?

I'm very familiar with a guy (who posts a lot on this forum) that just bought a brand new shiny big boat. He also lives about 30 mins east of PNS. I bet if we offered enough free beer and BBQ, he would be willing to take us out for a good view of practice day. :)

You admire people who are ill-informed underpaid conformists because they have found a way to avoid thinking?

So let ME get this straight. You come to an "anonymous" web forum for information to help form YOUR thinking...

And my "admiration" is that of not letting all the naysayers get in their bloodstream.. It is much healthier than visiting this place.

I go camping at NAS Pensacola all the time. I forget which day it is but one day per week, the Naval Aviation Museum opens its ramp to walk (or take a bus) to the flightline and watch the practice show. It is all free plus you can spend some time in the museum. That is probably the best way to do it.

I've gone. Basically, it's the show without the announcer. Have fun, and be sure to eat lunch in the Subic Bay O-Club at the museum. I have a lot of buddies with names on those placques.

Mine is on the plaque right over the cash register.

Thanks. Me too.

So, T... what did you think of the post? :D (other than liking the reference to a drum solo, which I'm guessing you misunderstood)

It is the same as any of over 1000 posts you have put out before..

ALPA doesn't produce.. we go elsewhere... same old song.

No offense intended.

Elvis,

Your apology is accepted.

Your punishment is to go over to ACL's house and help spread mulch:)
