Need a little honest advice please. Been told by check and set that my app is good to go. Mil Guard heavy with pic, also low time regional FO. Should I have my app pulled via an internal from a bro? Done a fare amount of research on here and It sounds like hiring will slow soon till next fall and then pick up again. Don’t want to do the internal and then get a refreshed version of the “we are stopping hiring..... need 8000 people” email from last year. Anyone got a good thumb on the pulse of hiring prospects?. Or seen something recently that differs from my concerns?

Is there any estimate or knowledge on the time frame between scheduling the 6 month re-invite and the interview day?
The re-invite email said it could take longer than it did to schedule the original interview, looking to see if anyone can share their experience.
TIA

Further rumor is that almost everyone below the CFO understands that carrying extra pilots by running onboarding and training at a reasonable level, and having them earn the inexpensive first year pay, is a cheap and easy way to avoid expensive pilot shortages later when retirements pick up and the training pipeline doesn’t accelerate like a Tesla in ludicrous mode and spit out ready pilots on demand. Lack of familiarity with how onboarding and training actually works makes this too much of an academic, far away problem for said senior leader. Pretty much need a penguin to fall off the iceberg before he’ll allow another to climb aboard.
