Where did I ever say it's all about networking? What I have said is that the matrix/points weighting system that so many people come here and defend doesn't hold water with SOME of the applicants that have posted their credentials.

That explains a lot for me. I won't feel so bad about getting an invite so soon relative to some folks. I know guys that got calls way faster than I did with even less time.

Concerning the mesaba flows, I thought they were done complete with them. Or doesn't reset every year?

Concerning compass. My understanding is they have approximately 160 that will be given a flow left this year. Then they are done with the guaranteed flow guys. Could someone in the know give facts concerning this?

And that's always been the case. Under Plato (sp?) there were CP's who were miffed that their mentors were not getting the call. We have by far the best hiring process in the business.

Lear you are correct...there are appx 160 left from compass to flow starting in jan if delta is hiring (which they are forecasting). They will take at least 120 pilots in 2015, the rest will either be on the tail end of it if they decide to just take them all to end the flow, or the remaining 40 will be in 2016. This is all related to the size of the pilot group at compass, someone probably knows more about it than I do.

If the pilot is military, pretty much guaranteed they have TPIC time unless a newbie from the ANG/Reserves.
