They really liked my portfolio of crayon drawings from 2nd grade through my Masters degree. I picked my best ones. One even had two stars AND a smiley face.

Yeah, everyone tells you what they would like to say, not what they really say. The thing is, that answer would have found you on the street soon after. The 727 FE APDs were large Richards. They made the guys going in to their initial check wear coats and ties, while every other program was just business casual and laid back.

We need to get back to that in initial training. That and basic instrument patterns in a sim session. Nothing exotic... no jeopardy, but actually flying the airplane. JMHO

When we first got glass I used to ask the F/O's to fly every third T.O. and landing manually, a few ratted me out. The Co. said no more of that... Sigh....

Agreed x1000. Lets add a lot of Go-arounds too (multiple scenarios with or w/o A/P). I have witnessed some "ELBOWS and A$$WHOLE" scenarios .

have any non Delta feeder RJ guys been offered interviews lately. With the implosion of Envoy, even those of use with flow dates in the next 12-24 months are worried parker and his gang will find a way to take that away too.
