So I have an honest question for the Delta job app.

I put in my complete job history including my job as "Baywatch"I had between my junior and senior year in high school. So my question is do I need to put in unemployment history accounting for high school and college or say none?

no. the way it was explained to me by AeroCrew was that you are considered in school then so you aren't unemployed.

I was gonna say, "You don't have to worry about flying with him, but us 12-14 year guys do."

I've got apps in and nothing yet. One more year and that damn degree is finished. Now my
Other obstacle is how does HR view expats flying in China? Who knows.

airspeed1974 will be a great cop.

Won't be able to remember details for trial.

Thanks for the internet comedy.

airspeed. You're a real dude and i'd fly with you any day. I'd also put you on my short stack for hiring. I also agree with you on the airline apps thing and how ludicrous it is.

Delta/Ual etc are trying to weed out candidates by using a silly app process to measure "precision" and "attention to detail" with. All they need to do is look at whose paid their dues, stuck with this business during hardships, and who really wants the job. To me, that is what an ideal candidate for hire is. Not some dude forced to join a women's or a minorities' organization to beg for a job. That is fake.

Is it just me or does it seem that there is a category of pilots who have a chip on their shoulder or feel a sense of entitlement when it comes to jumping through the hiring hoops. Almost if that legacy job is theirs just because and any "weeding out" process is beneath them.

It fills me with a sense of foreboding when I read these posts from guys who want a job where I work, yet post disparaging or disdainful comments about said company. Not sure I want them sitting in the right seat next to me. Could make for a very long rotation.

You are wasting your time applying to Delta if you do not have a degree.

Geesh, now you are gonna start a rant on the arbitrariness of having a required degree. After all, how does it show his awesome flight skills?
