Delta Hiring News
#1492
I flew with the head honcho for my airplane program a few weeks ago. I asked him the 300 new hire question and he quickly responded that it would be 600 minimum. He isn't involved in the hiring process, but he rubs elbows with those who are. Take it for what it's worth.

Ps. I have heard if you show up in a Brown suit, you automatically get hired

If Oct 7th is rumored start date for interviews, would it be correct to assume calls will go out shortly? I've kept some optimism, but seeing that few (if any) have gone out, I reckon there's still hope! While I know the regionals don't pay near as well, at least its a job...
And, I know what happens when one 'assumes', just trying to keep the good vibes moving in all directions (hiring directions). Thanks.

Shy, you can always reapply to Endeavor...I hear Delta is handling the interviews and when your # comes up in 10 years or so, you've already passed the interview! YAY!

Sorry if this has been addressed previously, but I've been following this thread and haven't seen it...
Someone told me they heard former poolies would be getting class dates (no interviews?) early on, like right after returnees and flows. Has anyone heard anything about this?
I'm a 2008 NW poolie who was supposed to be in the class that was the first cancelled. Haven't been real keen on having to jump through all the hoops again (TMATW q's, etc) but being offered a class with a cursory meet and greet, PRIA and background check changes that a bit.
Thanks,
Bus
