Delta Hiring News

I used Logbook Pro and this exact binder for the pages. I also used a heavier paper for printing (but not quite resume style). I had my originals ready for inspection if needed but I didn't turn them in at the beginning. I had my 1-page Air Force flight time summary in the flap of the binder as well. They seemed to like the presentation. I offered up my originals during the interview and they said no thanks.

Ditto minus the originals. I added a memo explaining that I had added evaluator time into my Instructor calculations just so there would be no misunderstanding. They took my paperwork and I never was asked a thing about it. Just make your paperwork neat and display an attention to detail. Anything above that not utilizing your prep time properly IMO. Good luck to all with upcoming interviews and to those waiting on the e-mail invite, hang in there...your time will come.
I won't know for another 6 weeks if it was all worth it or not...

I also did the same. Logbook pro personalized binder, card stock, etc. It was quite the project putting in 3000+ hours line by line, but I think the final product was worth it. My original logbook, which I started when I was 16, was a mess- multiple pen colors used, typos, I think I used the words "scud running" in the comments, etc. Wish I could go back and slap my 16 year old self . I won't know for another 6 weeks if it was all worth it or not...
Good luck in 6 weeks!

How common are these so-called fix it emails? I had the pilot selection email sent in a couple of months ago, but haven't heard anything… No Fixit email, or anything. I'm just curious to know if almost everybody ends up getting a fix-it email, or if I am just simply not competitive enough to get one. Has anyone been called for an interview with no fix-it email?

Hang in there, we will get a call eventually. Although I am expecting to hear from United before Delta as my flight experience is considered valuable at United whereas at Delta I have been told that I rank third behind Military and then regional 121.

We've had plenty of clients interviewing at Delta with less time and quals than you. I know its tough but hang in there and keep plugging away. Your time will come.

Yeah it's tough to know what deltas looking for right now… Of course they really like military guys, which I totally understand, but the guys I know who have been hired seem to be kind of across the board as far as qualifications. I'm just hoping that my qualifications will rise to the surface soon…
11,000 TT
7,000 jet pic
Regional check airman for 6 years.
Community volunteer service.
Four-year degree, >3.3 GPA.
I totally understand there are tons of well-qualified applicants, and Delta is still taking the cream from the surface, but sometimes waiting is easier said than done!
