This would surprise me and doubt it's the norm without something pretty significant helping their app. In the latest breakdown it showed mil guys getting hired with an average of 3000 total hours and 2000 PIC. I've heard of regional FOs getting hired with low PIC but not mil guys. I also have not met any mil guy that has been hired in the last 6 months with less than 1000 PIC. I'm sure they are out there but it seems to be an important threshold.

This. Especially from what I've seen in my sq and our sister squadrons.

Me and ten of my friends. Guys girls!!!!!! Most had 121 also. The key is checking the 121 box. That is worth just as much if not more than tpic! It is NOT required and I got called in 2013 with none (I had some when I got to the interview) I had heavy Air Force, Cargo heavy 121 and regionals. Delta has recently called several of my friends who are mil copilot a but have approx 100-300 hours of RJ 121 time. And the 1000 tpic number means nothing at Delta...or United...or AA friends at all with minimal from the Air Force reserve! This is not fedex or southwest!

I was hired late last year. Do not think I posted these before, so I will save some digging. Rough numbers: 2300 TT, 1800 military, 700 TPIC. And I know there was at least one person in my class with less total time.
It has been said ad nauseum: it is not just about flight time, folks. Polish your entire app and network fiendishly.
