Anyone have any info on the (400ish) new tech test questions and possible change to the cog test?! We need to get the gouge out asap for those of us with interviews fast approaching.

The reason they changed the test is that they don't want people to just study the gouge.

Interesting.

This hiring round has seen a crap ton (relatively speaking) amount of people that DON'T get through the MMPI. Only for them to get a redux, told how to answer the MMPI the second time around, so they can hire them.

About a year ago, a little over half the candidates that day were afforded that luxury, and all hired.

On that subject, I was told that Delta is having a harder time finding military candidates. anybody with more info regarding that?
what is the monthly percentage of candidates coming from the military? Are there anymore preferential interviews from Endeavour?
In other words, out of the 100-120 new hires/month (is that still a valid number?), how many slots available for off the street candidates?
Thanks

You haven't figured it out that no one cares about what is said here? Tons of guys like me laugh at you while we play our Microsoft Flight sim and listen to airline pilots ***** about work. Its an open anonymous forum and it funny to see guys complain about work, pay, blah blah blah. For me this place is a fun place for my friends to point and laugh. But is this all you have to do if you really fly for any airline? Makes me feel sorry for you.

And what is funny, anyone can look up stuff related to aviation and post it here.

Oh wait, here it comes...... You have a better job, life, etc than me or everyone else.

There is no such thing as Type I fluid.

The gouge request was about the question bank and cog test. Delta doesn't want people just memorizing the questions and cog test. No one mentioned the MMPI but you. No way to study for that, but maybe the issue there is generational? As in, the younger generation is just messed up in the head!

Right. I was simply pointing out the opposite ends of the spectrum between the 2. As in, "don't let people have the gouge" on one end to "let's tell people that don't get through a test how to answer it the second time" on the other. See what I'm saying?

Don't disagree with that......

Default 2nd Interview

Hi folks,

1st post!!!

So I interviewed at Delta at the end of last year and unfortunately did not get picked up the first go around, but was given the 6 month re-interview opportunity.

My 6 month anniversary is approaching soon when I can call to begin the reschedule process.

Does anyone know a "historical" timeline as to how Delta likes to fit us re-interview guys back into the mix? Do we get a 2 week notice or have to possibly wait another 4 months for an interview date after we make the call?

Hard question to answer as i'm sure it's pretty fluid situation with them as far as when interview dates pop up and are available, etc.....

I'm basically trying to get an idea of how to plan my study/prep again. Tough to study hard indefinitely with no concrete timeline as to when one can expect to be given an interview again.

Thanks folks!
