I haven't had any friends called yet. Got a lot of good mil guys I know that went. They've got thousands of hours and deserve a chance. Especially when we've hired 1500TT female Air Force copilots for the last year. Give some of these guys a chance!!! And before anyone says anything...I'm a female and I think it's bs these guys aren't getting called!

The new hires at DAL are absolutely stellar. Superstars. I work with them almost every trip and I'm over the top impressed. And that is the line consensus too. So sour grapes are understandable, but the guys/gals that have been hired are hitting for the cycle.

I've been at a Delta a few years and my friends hired with 1500 hours are top notch. Fabulous pilots and people, it just frustrates me my male military friends who are twice as qualified can't get a call.

AeroCrew Solutions posted somewhere, possibly this thread, about what Delta currently desires. I won't best the horse again, but one's aviation qualifications are but one variable in the cryptic equation.

There are more great guys and gals applying then openings at any given airline so it will take time. If they are as good as you say they will get picked up eventually - and hopefully sooner than later.
