So I've heard that when a pilot applicant has an internal pilot recommendation, his application is pulled from the pile and scored. Is this true? Does it make a difference if one of your recommendations is the Chief Pilot of one of the Delta bases? What would a recruiter do if one of the applicant's recs was a Chief Pilot?

It would be good to have a recommendation from a Delta Chief Pilot but applicants are called in to interview based on their application score.

what exactly is being graded when delta looks at your app? I know they want it to be very clean/neat, do they grade how many number of LOR you have on file? I know United was something like 15 LOR, does the same stand for delta?

I've heard that Delta only scores your app once a year. I was wondering, since I went to a job fair earlier this year, if a friend submits an internal on my behalf would it be looked at and scored again? I was under the impression that if you fast passed through Delta they would score your app from a job fair.
