I can see junior swa pilots leaving for dal though due to basing, projected upgrades etc. Swa doesnt sound appealing to guys who want to eventually bid widebody flying with lots of days off. To each his/her own of course.

now jblu makes total sense. Theyre going to lose a ton of people

Any SA yet on how many of the 143 furlough recalls said they'd come back but haven't or won't? Just looking for fuel for speculation on how many Jan class seats maybe open for fill in from off the street poolies.

Also, i was told that the second week of interviews in Oct were held for Endeavor interviews. However i've since heard that some off the street guys also went then. Anybody know how many off the street interviews went that week?

Most recent official number of furlough returnees was from mid-October and it was 134. Don't know if any more have since declined.

As of last week:
123 are returning.
25 are bypassing (still under 10 years).
9 additional are coming back and going straight to Mil Leave.
The rest are going to be off the list.

The Jan 13 was a class date given for the Mesaba Flows. Also given was a second class date of Feb 3 for flows. That is the only crumbs we've been getting. I think the Compass bypass for a couple months will open things up for off the street people to get into class.
