That's just the look some are trying to achieve.

It just looks rediculous without a riding crop.

Have the results from the AE that closed out on June 9th been released yet? The results of that will supply the upcoming newhire classes, so I'm kind of curious what airframes and bases made it through the bidding.

Thanks -

Exactly. And not the dude that secretly wears one item of chick's undergarments for the sheer rush of it knowing they won't ever be caught either.

Yes they have. Bid what you want and want what you bid. Looks like darn near everything will have multiple openings. Many in the 20+ area.

Here's my math on unfilled positions (total of 309), but I have no idea which will remain unfilled or available on each new hire drop:

ATL M88 78
ATL 717 45

NYC 7ER 7
NYC 73N 37
NYC 320 37
NYC M88 46

DTW 7ER 1
DTW 717 1

MSP 7ER 1
MSP 320 1

Thanks to all contributors for info! Big fan first time poster... In 16 Jun class and was looking for opinions on crash pad vs hotel as far as studying conditions are concerned. Would hotel be worth the $$?

Hard to believe the MSP positions had no bidders. Hopefully they do backfill.

Crashpads aren't the best study venues, but they aren't terrible either. If you are a studier, you can do it just as well in a crashpad as a hotel for cheaper. If you are a guy that cant help himself and has to follow the crowd to the bar, it also doesn't matter where you are staying.

Just my 2 cents, the first school at DAL is where you will cement all the aqp knowledge, flows, emergency procedures, etc. for the rest of your career...Get them learned early.

The thing is, you can do it equally well in a crashpad or a hotel room.
