Or is this how you plan to negotiate with RA:

My strike fund is full. If we get to a strike vote I'm an automatic yes. As far as I'm concerned the faster the process plays out the better. If we could realistically strike a year or even two years from now it would be an incredible negotiating job by our negotiators. In my opnion, if we go in saying "strike or else" its going to be a long process.

Our goals are similar.

That's fair. I'm curious about your experience. In what context do you defend flows? That hasn't been my experience at all. Everyone in the training program and on line has been nothing short of gracious and supportive. My experience has been people are happy to see new hires and no one has questioned the flow other than the logistics.

For what it's worth, I don't know of any Delta pilot who feels that way. You were hired by NWA to fly a Compass jet for some period of time and then move to mainline. That is the deal you were offered when you came to work for them, and that is the deal that Delta assumed when it merged with NWA and is now honoring, having sold Compass.

No loophole. Just people living up to their end of a bargain.

Welcome aboard!!

I've decided I'm done arguing tactics. I want the Delta pilots to get as much as we can possible get in the next contract and hope we can have some unity.

I'm sorry to my former Compass brothers if I've cast you in a bad light. Overall that pilot group was, and probably still is, an exceptional group of people. Every group has knuckleheads and maybe I'm one, but the rest shouldn't be judged by the views of one person.

If you think I'm an A-hole, fine. Please don't judge anyone else based on what I've written.

Young Obe- Nobody knows what it takes to unscrew the mason jar full of money, if they did, they would have bled the system dry years ago....

Every mason jar I come across has moonshine in it.

Oberon - Your name is a good beer. Your acting like a moron though. We don't appreciate that here. Grow up and welcome to the big show.

Dial it back dude, please. I think I recommended to another new hire on another thread...it's a little too early in your career at Delta to be so outspoken. You're only pizzing dudes off.

Carry on.

Sage advice there Obi, read and heed.

There was a guy in my new hire class who spent his first year pizzing off Capt.s and F/O's by beoching about the impending B scale. "If you guys put us on the B scale, we'll fk with your retirement!" type of stuff...

He was warned by the CPO to keep his mouth shut...twice.

He was fired on his 'end of probation' checkride, when he told the check engineer what he really thought...
