But the take trips away from FOs is popping up everywhere and the thought of locking down LCA to the trips is a terrible idea if you want to retain and recruit good LCA.
Agreed 100%. I don't know about the other fleets, but on the 88, the LCAs earn every penny of their 15% override. If there are no other incentives then why in the world would anyone want to expose themselves to the ASAP minefield of new hire training? I fly with talented, patient, and even keeled Capts all the time that have no desire whatsoever to be a LCA. We need those guys, not the riff raff we would be left with if you stripped away the bennies that go with the job.

It's not true tsquare. Moak decided on a pressure play similar to what SWA did to AirTran. Stevens and the NWA guys didn't play. You guys signed your own deal, then we eventually agreed to a joint deal. It didn't work out the way Moak planned and we all lost as a result.

Water under the bridge.

So you're debating C12 again. Vey well. I'll cede the point. I'm not sure why I let myself get dragged into that irrelevant minutia.

Care to refute the C15 info here? Pulling LCA trips from FO bids...Sick leave concessions...NC member crying after not being able to sell further concessions to the MEC...

Didn't think so.

I don't disagree that there is a debate going on within the MEC.

I take issue with you guys picking a topic of the day, declaring that it is a done deal, and then attempting to undermine our reps that are currently working through the process (that you love to say wasnt followed.) Which is it? Do you want the process to be followed or really just want your idealogy to prevail at any cost?

Does that include trying to wage a PR campaign to sway pilot opinion before there is anything concrete to discuss? Does that include mocking our negotiators with memes of crying teen idols? How is any of that helping further our cause?

I'll say it for you, I'm a strong supporter of DALPA. I see this sausage making process that they are going through right now as necessary and do not see any reason to mash the "panic button." YMMV.

Now it's irrelevant? At least we're getting somewhere. Why should anyone believe anything else you're spreading when you're clearly willing to make stuff up until it is called out and shown to be wrong?

See above. Nobody can guarantee that those items won't make it into a TA in some form or another. The debate is in constant flux, and even the reps in the room couldn't tell you with 100% certainty that none of those will be touched - with enough sweetener anything is negotiable. It's unlikely the company can afford what it would take to push through some items, but the point remains that anything is possible.

I'd put the burden of proof back on you. You've demonstrated that you will make stuff up and perpetuate rumors. Why should I be spun up at this point?

Lots of things are debated by the MEC. It doesn't mean they all have wings or will make it into a TA. It's part of "the process."
