Was anyone here in the International lounge in Atlanta yesterday for the presentation from one of the 4th floor guys about FOs bidding LCA?

Harwood is a genius when it comes to statistical analysis, costing and all the other technical details of how the contract will function. However, he should not be allowed anywhere near the negotiating table.

Also confirmed: concessionary changes to sick leave. I think it's safe to say that concession directly opposes the survey results.

Those are not rumors. Those are confirmed as approved by the MEC. As additional confirmation, note that none of the usual Dalpa suspects are denying it.

Guys, we're in trouble. It's time to mash the panic button and spread the word.
Having trips unavailable for a senior FO to bid and given to a lower seniority pilot for training is an abrogation of seniority. I say status quo, or they can cobble together open time. I don't bid these, nor have I ever had this happen, but this is BS.

Except that's not why the little princess was crying. He was crying because he was being taken apart by an ATL rep who thought the concessions that have been agreed to were unacceptable. That's a huge problem because council 44 is supposed to be in the bag. If one council 44 guy flips, that changes our MEC from 10-9 candy a$$es, to 10-9 restorationists. That's why he was crying because he knew it meant going back to Michael Campbell and the rest of their management partners and family members to reverse course.

As I've said before, it's going to come down to this pilot group voting down a substandard TA. It's the shot across the bow that is the only hope of returning this Union to its rightful owners. It's the one weapon that keeps Harwood (acting MEC chairman) up at night. Nothing can wake Donutelli.

No it is not. If you will recall (assuming you were at the table or back of the room) even some of the reps who voted yes we're very frustrated with the process and there were many discussions about how to rectify things in the future, although it met resistance with the then chairman and the reps who were more or less on the inside.

Like it or not, the reps were the last to know on many issues such as pay, when it was being discussed, and the conversion of profit sharing. These things were "presented" as if they were last minute items and they were not. Insiders knew general numbers at least a week before the informal conference call seeking "non direction direction" on something that was already semi negotiated.

You don't have to be smart to figure out why the info was concealed. Presenting this info to the MEC would at a minimum, have delayed the completion of the TA by sending the negotiators back after redirection, or just rejecting it outright since they would not be in the TA hotbox. This was unacceptable to an Admin who wanted the deal and maneuvered around part of the MEC to make it happen.

Agreed, but he is now the de facto MEC chairman as Donutelli has lost all authority and respect. If the reps don't stand up to this little dictator, they'll be guaranteeing their own irrelevance.

Exactly right. Shiznit was a rep at the time so he knows you're correct also.
