They happen to be in a rush now. And now you know why they're in a rush.

Carl,
I think they are in a rush because:
1. They are the only company in the world that has 80,000 employees standing to get a bonus that could equal 3 months pay.
2. The investment world looks at this over payment of the help the way we would view a gear up landing.
3. They can't walk this program back for the non union folks unless we go first.
We can use this situation as an opportunity to get back to our 2004 pay rates +. We are in a good spot. If we have a good trade, we can get a big bump. If they can't come to an agreement, we get a mongo bonus check. The "time value of saying no" might be pretty big.
Just my thoughts...

I think it's important that you continue this behavior however. Some folks here think I'm too hard on people like you. Now they get to see blatant lying and history revision for themselves.
Keep it up ace.

Believing them is of course your right, and you don't know me from an anonymous webboard.
I'll stick with my first-hand recollection.
I'd only ask you to consider that while some reps felt the process wasn't followed, most know that it was. I'd also ask that you consider that the discrepancy might have come from a misunderstanding on one side or the other, rather than something nefarious.

Well, I guess I'll just assume they have bad memories!
