Let the process work (hopefully) If we don't get the product we think we should have then reps need to be recalled and all that stuff. I think it would be an enormous mistake to go independent. For example: You think dpa could deliver a scope clause like swa? Seriously? (I don't think they are going to be able to keep the one they have either btw) You and I better get our resumes dusted off if dpa were successful though, and at least you better get used to the idea of being in a mad dog right seat.. Or C2K + inflation? On day 1? rotflmao. All puff and no substance is what it is.

jmho, ymmv

I'm not a DPA supporter, but your catastrophising of what an independent union would bring is a bit much. My concerns, if this gets to memory rat, are that a group that is sheepish enough to vote for this POS doesn't have the cajones to push hard enough to better their situation.

All that is there now is the highlights. The 98 page document is gone. (I have it though)

Today's session is much more interesting than yesterday.
So far it has been all about scope and transAtlantic JV.
These are the slides that everyone needs to see. I hope the MEC will publish them.

longtime lurker. first post.

This TA is a turd.

Im asking all my fellow DAL pilots to please call your your reps and kill this thing at the MEC level. They are voting today.

If it passes the MEC- the pilot group will vote to accept.

The idea that we're contemplating a concessionary TA during this time in our history leaves me speechless.

The idea we'd allow the abrogation of bidding seniority to occur to ANY part of our seniority list is offensive.

The idea that were paying for our own raises with cuts to PS that we already paid DEARLY for astounds me.

The idea we're going to invite more company intrusion into our lives regarding sick leave makes me angry.

I could go on, but I won't. These are just some of the nuggets of this TA that will compel me to vote NO if the MEC sends it to us.

Please call your reps and let this TA die on the table with them. No deal is certainly better than THIS deal.

What was the MEC itenerary today? As in, what time does this get passed and sent to memory rat?

Supposedly there were a few typos in some of the slides (I heard something about the 190 rates being off by a bit...) and they are apparently being edited prior to reposting them.

8/.25/3/3 these are the real numbers after we buy our raise with profit sharing giveback. The negotiations need to continue or we are giving concessions for sub standard pay.

They are S L O W L Y working their way through Q&A with the scope guys, which is a good thing. After that they will continue Q&A on the other sections with the negotiators.

They are supposed to get to a vote at some point today, but we'll see if that actually happens. There is a lot of ground yet to cover.

Any clarification yet on what the new JV formula means for Delta widebody jobs?

After the economy and market go in the chitter after October 2015 there won't be any Profit Sharing. That and the new language will provide less than 2% PS at best. Send this back and change it to hard dollars, not pie in the sky. 12-9-6-6 at minimum.
