IN BREAKING NEWS
The alpa mec Facebook page has been taken over by Kim Jon Un, and due to the negativity of the comments following each of the TA slides they have opted to fully remove both the conversations going on in the past two days as well as the ability to comment further. Any comments made are viewable only to the user and the user's friend list. wow. Here is a tidbit of the kind of posts they are now selectively allowing everyone to see. USER NAME REMOVED What I see is an agreement worth over $1.2 Billion to the Delta pilots. What I see is an agreement that puts our pay rates above C2K rates. What I see is an agreement that improves the block hour ratio to outsourced flying that is better than we currently have. What I see is a deal that the Delta pilots deserve to vote on. |

They are supposed to get to a vote at some point today, but we'll see if that actually happens. There is a lot of ground yet to cover. |

And, I couldn't care any less about pay rates. Not when the rest of the contract is being gutted. They are going to pay you a few extra dollars. At most of our income levels, this will be eaten by taxes. Meanwhile, you are giving away things that took a couple of generations to pry away from airline companies. Things you will never, ever get back. Think people. |
Heard the the Lca OE job concession alone is worth 180 jobs. Will get clarification

First, how the heck do you quote embedded quotes (i.e. quote numerous posts in a thread and not just the last one).

If it gets voted up or down, so be it. However, it should be based on an understanding of actual language, not conjecture. The Q&A is essential to achieving that end. There are some undesirable parts of this deal. There is also plenty of good. I support our process which means I will accept the the result of the democratic vote however it falls out. YMMV |

After the economy and market go in the chitter after October 2015 there won't be any Profit Sharing. That and the new language will provide less than 2% PS at best. Send this back and change it to hard dollars, not pie in the sky. 12-9-6-6 at minimum.

I expect every rep from either side of the issue to have a full opportunity to ask as many questions as they want. After doing so, I expect them to vote their conscience.
