Uhhhhh.......You are definitely going to have to show me the math that nets us an additional 30% via profit sharing with a $6 billion dollar 20% threshold. I'm guessing it it would take around an $8 billion profit under the current $2.5 billion threshold to get there.

IN BREAKING NEWS

The alpa mec Facebook page has been taken over by Kim Jon Un, and due to the negativity of the comments following each of the TA slides they have opted to fully remove both the conversations going on in the past two days as well as the ability to comment further. Any comments made are viewable only to the user and the user's friend list.

wow.

Here is a tidbit of the kind of posts they are now selectively allowing everyone to see.

USER NAME REMOVED
What I see is an agreement worth over $1.2 Billion to the Delta pilots. What I see is an agreement that puts our pay rates above C2K rates. What I see is an agreement that improves the block hour ratio to outsourced flying that is better than we currently have. What I see is a deal that the Delta pilots deserve to vote on.

A lot of "ground to cover..." or a lot of arms to twist?

Yes. And, I couldn't care any less about pay rates. Not when the rest of the contract is being gutted.

They are going to pay you a few extra dollars. At most of our income levels, this will be eaten by taxes. Meanwhile, you are giving away things that took a couple of generations to pry away from airline companies.

Things you will never, ever get back.

Think people.

Start at the top post you want to quote and use the "+ button next to the "Quote button. Do that for the rest of the posts you want to quote. When you get to the last post you are quoting use the "Quote button and all of the posts will be in the quote post.

I expect every rep from either side of the issue to have a full opportunity to ask as many questions as they want. After doing so, I expect them to vote their conscience.

If it gets voted up or down, so be it. However, it should be based on an understanding of actual language, not conjecture. The Q&A is essential to achieving that end.

There are some undesirable parts of this deal. There is also plenty of good. I support our process which means I will accept the the result of the democratic vote however it falls out. YMMV

This one item alone results in a no vote from me.. A huge concession like this isn't needed during record profits.
