Soon, we will have no 747s and will be a predominately an a330 airline.

ALPA prides themselves on pattern bargaining, which you well know how it works.

They out right failed by being unable to match those rates.

So, for a guy like you oh has been relegated to 767 for what likely is the remainder of your short career here, unless you get lucky enough to hold an a330, you will never see the financial gains that an AMR or UAL pilot will for doing the same job on the same airplane.
The TA'd rate on the 330 is higher then Americans rate at the amendable date. Are you suggesting we lower it to match them?

A little irony...

The last time we saw this much solidarity on any issue was during the "Keep Delta My Delta" campaign. For those not around at the time, Doug Parker and his minions tried to take over Delta.

A small group within our union have stark similarities with Doug.

The upside. A large majority of Delta pilots are unifying and may realize they are more powerful than the union ever gave them credit for.

Just got an email from my rep saying sick leave was the most debated section so far. He thinks it will be sent on to us to decide. C2012 all over again just worse.

The second instance was when I had bronchitis. The Dr. prescribed an inhaler. a short time later they asked if I needed any information on controlling my Asthma! Once Dr. Foster is installed as the Director of health services, he can, by himself, end your career. that "medical release" can disqualify you from line flying until HE is satisfied that you meet the FAA medical guidelines. The Heart attack example they gave in day one was an exaggeration, but there are a lot of things that can disqualify you from having a medical, and they don't need your permission to do it either! HIPPA privacy only prevents doctors and hospitals from giving out your information WITHOUT your consent. Delta is self insured. Every prescription you have ever had filled is on file with DHS
Exactly. You got in an argument with a gate agent? You refused an airplane due to fatigue? "We need you to come in for an exam, you may have some issues that need addressing...."

Doesn't really matter. We know how they will vote. It will be up to the pilots to vote no..

what's sad is that sick leave was debated more than the JV Scope, LCA bidding, and loss of PS.

I'm thinking there must be a few guys who are really, really, abusing sick leave for the company to take this much effort to eliminate them, because it sounds like that's exactly what's going to happen.

Of course the side benefit will be, everyone will be afraid to call in sick, so they'll be coming to work sick, making more of us sick...so we got that going for us!
