That's the Vocal minority fallacy though. Happy and content people don't write in at all. You have take stock of those who do call in and consider the ratio of the silent voices and the voices of whatever was in the pilot survey (which is statistically way more accurate than the the consensus on APC).
It's the same way you vote for senators, and other political figures. You vote for the person to make judgement calls, you don't vote for how they vote. I'm not saying that's the best way to go about it, but that's how it's done.

What if some of that silence is all the pizzed off former DALPA supporters who have just plain given up on DALPA EVER saying NO to anything?

Why any F/O would vote Yes to this thing is beyond me.

And just in general too. DALPA Facebook posts deleted and blocked. Facebook rating deleted. Members receiving phone calls from ALPA attorneys. And some of the latter things I mentioned have nothing to do with the TA facts.
Disturbing.

You are correct. Let's say pilot 1 wants trip A. Trip A does not get awarded because it is with a LCA. Pilot 1 now has to get trip B. Pilot 2 wanted trip B and would have received it under the old contract but must now settle for trip C. It continues down the line so it affects all pilots in a category.

Since I WAS one of those happy and content people before this TA came out, I'm guessing there are a lot more like me that are calling/emailing their reps when they never did before. Also, silence is not consent. It's, well it's silence. Maybe they are out of the loop for whatever reason like on vacation.
