Assume Delta makes 6 Billion

Old method = 2.5B * 10% + 3.5B * 20% = 950 million for all emploees.

New method = 6B * 10% = 600 million for all employees.

So, the difference for all employees is 350 million. You figure the pilot share of that is maybe 150 million at the most, but there is no way you can have the savings for just the pilots be more than the total for all employees!

AND.....when it gets out to the other employee groups that our raise was financed with their profit sharing, we're going to be real popular around campus:eek::D

Send it back. Don't waste time bringing it to us

Gut feeling from the cheap seats:

It's going to pass.

Some of the yes votes don't necessarily like it but they feel that they must let the line pilots make the final call.

I disagree with this idea that it should go to us to vote, I think they need to vote for what's in our best interest, which is clearly going back to the negotiating table and tweaking a few things. Going through an entire vote of the pilot group is so much more than just voting no and going back and changing a few percentages. Like give us 8, 8, 3, 3, (my example not meant to be taken literally as what I think we should get!) and make the profit sharing number 3.5 and change the lca trip hold to 25% and of course no retroactive sick leave verification that is absolutely ridiculous.

No one has any thoughts about my question.........

If they send it back, does the NC resign?

Yeah, because the numbers supplied by management/dalpa have always been more accurate than companies that crunch numbers for a living all day every day.

Thanks. Found it. No comments to be seen. I am posting the question on each of their slides.

Actually sounds reasonable...sheesh. Maybe enough reps will find a spine & vote this POS down. Let's hope so,
