Go to the MEC FB page and express your dismay at this unacceptable TA as well. The negative comments there are overwhelming. There are also three FB Groups started on the TA.

Correct me if I am wrong, but our LOA, when signed with Virgin, allows for language protecting only WB frames. I was thinking to myself... While this is great it leaves a loophole for Virgin to get a bunch of A321-LR aircraft. Another fine masterpiece brought to us by a crack staff of lawyers at ALPA.

Just before Morgado became the NC chairman, we flew a 4 day trip (of course he was on a greenie). At some point during the 4 day I said, I wish ALPA would quit negotiating LOA's because it takes away our stick during a full section 6. He didn't understand that. It now appears the company threatened to park us with the NMB.(BTW I a fine with that... Just makes them look silly) Of course they will, because we addressed many of their concerns with LOA's, In the spirit of constructive engagement, of course. Had we held our ground during the LOA that addressed the 117 rule changes (think how many GS were lost after that change to our PWA) we would have sooooo much more leverage.

ALPA's new hashtag should be.

#usingconstructiveengagemenrtogivebacksince2000. Or #fundingpayraiseswithconcessions

Please feel free too add to the list.

Has anyone heard about E-Jets being used to replace Mad Dogs? 717s were sold as replacing RJs but I've been seeing 'em on a lot of my old 88 trips/layovers. It seems 190/195s are initially being pushed as replacing RJs, too, but if they have a 4-hr range, I don't see them going to Columbus, GA. True, the Mini Dog goes to Augusta, but so did the 88.

I'm a "NO", but if I need to plan on downsizing the house, I'd like to start getting ready.
I've done some rj replacement and a lot of 88 replacement in 2 years on the 717. I even did DFW not long ago. We weren't popular.
but yeah 18 turns out of Atlanta this month and only 1 was a place I didn't go on the 88, BTR.

Everyone needs to go to the chitchat forum and read the post:

What is in a Medical Note? - The pitfalls of Section 14
by Bob Lange

I will try and repost it here later. Sick leave can now be handled in Section 15 (and you can't read Section 15 in the new TA) Physical Examinations. In short, once you're sick 15 days in 365 you have no privacy rights in regards to medical and social history. They can access everything on your medical and social history. And Delta can question the decision your doctor made in giving you a "medical note". This is a huge concession.

Again this should be the no voters talking point.

Your fleet has been a real good news story for Delta pilots.

When the B717 started coming on the property we had 117 MD-88 and if memory serves we had around 49 MD-90 on the property or ordered.

Now we've got 60 B717, with 31 more to go. The MD-88/90 fleet has grown from 166 to 181 aircraft. The mainline fleet is up 66 aircraft since C2012. The DCI fleet is down 150 aircraft. June 2015 mainline domestic block hours are over 320,000. In 2013 they were about 250,000, for a gain of 70,000 block hours to mainline.

You may fly to a lot of former MD-88 destination, but with the 29.5% mainline domestic block hour growth we've experienced I wouldn't call it replacement flying for anything but RJ's and the 21 DC-9-50's that were leaving.

Sources if you want to verify are the crew resources July update and the fleet booklet.

Professor,

I think you are going to have a great career in politics...and if that doesn't work out you should check out Hollywood and a possible acting gig. Amazing your personality difference from last week and now....oh yeah you are on FPL working on my behalf now. Heck of a salesmen you are. Mikie and the boys must be proud of you. I see a communication chairman position for you in the future! Keep up the good work!

I think you should be a little more concerned about the medical concessions in our new sick leave section. You are displaying some multiple personalities on here.....

If anyone doesn't think this TA wasn't planned to go down like it did with the vote scheduled to close early in July, retead the Crew Resources Monthly Update on the planned AE with 744 displacements.
