good point, but I'd counter with the fact that network likes to operate a mainline into a lot of the smaller cities with the last flight of the day and first out, so this is the only way it works.

I would expect any amount of daily guarantee to also have an impact.

I kind of like the trips with 7 hours block day 1, long layover on day 2 and 7 hours on day 3. They are especially nice when they are hometown layovers. A daily guarantee would make them all but disappear.
With virtual basing there will be no hometown layovers, but a lot of one day trips

Just to get it on record.
It all depends on how many already parked 50 seaters Delta can buy.

For us non-carrier pilots, I thought you were supposed to look only at the "ball", not the deck, so how would a full moon help?

Some questions for those in the know:

How is it even possible that Seattle is not a hub in this TA?

Should I have a reason as a pilot to be in favor of the current non-hub "arrangement" there?

If this TA passes, should I expect Delta to start collecting mandatory dues?

All kinds of things for night currency as I recall. Not just landings.
If god had meant for people to land jets on ships...he'd have made bigger ships.
