I was the plug and got NYC 7ER. Like others have said, people do strange things, but there's always a chance.

It should be changed to age. SSN is just asinine. Age at least gives those who will retire sooner (mandatory) a tiny advantage. The nonsense about lawsuits are fake news as plenty of US airlines used and continue to use age.
As for the bid, the main reason for it was to start staffing the C Series. IMO that won't be for a while, which means the AE will only comprise of what they need regarding all other airframes. However that is further complicated by the existing fleets having to some degree cover the likely severely delayed (IMO for years) C Series.

I asked this in another thread but thought maybe people in class would have more opinions, I got a fix it email, besides knowing I was scored, anything else I can anticipate? Like a potential interview? Was a simple fix.

Totally disagree. Any preference/advantage given to someone based soley on age is agism. I’m not saying the SSN is the only way of doing it, but same class senority should be randomly assigned.

I'm curious what airlines use age? Do they go oldest to youngest or youngest to oldest?
