Just walk around Daytona Beach with a stack of flyers that says "Free pilot jobs. Tell 'em xxxx sent ya. Call Endeavor today!" Works wonders, and it saves the company line for the recruiters.

What happens to all the instructors during this period? We cant shut down the school house completely but I would imagine this would cause issues on their end also. Recurrent classes alone wont keep them all busy if new hires stop. Do they get paid to stay at home until they’re called back for the growth or do they go on some kind of instructor furlough?

We're still having new hires during this time. Just less than normal. 10ish a month. With that plus upgrades they should be fine. Several left once dynamic rolled out and several have dgi interviews soon which will naturally thin them out to size.

I just spoke with folks in the hiring department. We are NOT postponing class dates, we are reducing the amount of new hires. We are still upgrading through the summer. Training department still has work to do, just not at a feverish pace.

I did a phone interview after it took over a month from when I sent my resume. About a month after that, I got the nicest rejection letter ever talking about my amazing resume, impressive qualifications, blah, blah, blah. They said all their classes were full until the end of 2019. They hoped I would consider them in the future, or something like that. My friend works there and he isn’t even flying. Basically a paid vacation, which works for him, but I really want a job where I can get the 121 time quickly. I’m not sure why they went so aggressive on the hiring.

It sounds like you weren’t rejected, just that EDV isn’t hiring.

It's because Delta to us to plan for all this growth, then at the last minute changed their mind.
