Hah! I heard that one before they opened the NY 200 base. Obviously they don't feel too strongly about it, or they wouldn't have moved all the 200s there.

I'm thinking they moved the -200's there to hold gate slots and bring in a bigger pilot footprint while they work out their plan for more two class aircraft.

The one thing I've consistently heard since joining is that the NY marlet is planned as a 2 class service by the end of 2017.
The -200s were tactical.
Say- anybody seen the new LMS assignememts? 😜

Before anyone says how silly the above sounds remember the planes are being paid for whether delta has someone fly them or not, and gas is still cheap. Get them spooled up, swap when the time is right. If you did it 18 months afterwards you might not be able to hire the pilots.

Yes on the new LMS. Finished the intro, was deep into the 1st module, when the app went blank. Hit the back button, took me to the start, had to start all over. What a pain.

Also, I just saw in my Delta News Hub email that Delta is expanding service out of CVG. Some mainline, some of course RJs, so I'm sure that will affect us. Which is cool by me because I like CVG, it's low drama. However, I doubt that is going to be the secret squirrel new base.
