from the grapevine.... the G7 contract is up at the end of this year.. and the EV contract is up at the beginning of next... RG said the aircraft expire in groups... who the hell really knows... as CessnaDriver says.. the ones who do .. don't post on here.

I understand your frustration. Sitting reserve and never getting flown (especially as a commuter) is an aggravating experience. My first 2-3 months sitting reserve amounted to something less than 30 hours as I recall. Not knowing how high you are in the reserve grid, what I can tell you (from my experience) is that the closer you get to holding a line, it seems the more skeds will fly you. Unfortunately it should be the opposite. The brand new guys should be flying the most on reserve because they are the ones who really need the practice and experience. Best of luck to you.

For captains it's even more so, and so those reserves are flying a LOT more. Most reserve captains I've talked to have been well over guarantee every month for the last couple years. Most New York FO's barely touch the plane no matter how much they beg scheduling for flying...

This is correct.
As stated above, EV 700/900s are currently on contract through 2020. The most likely source would be G7 but I've heard those might go to EV as well.
