DTW 921 1263 = 2184 /// 827 1203 = 2030
MSP 659 961 = 1620 /// 656 949 = 1605
This doesn't look that bad right now, word on the street is there is a large cut for DTW and/or MSP after summer flying stops.. not just end of summer flying, but a large year over year cut.... DLnet only shows the schedule 2 months out but I guarantee the C tower knows right now...

so with the 900 taking up 200 routes.. mainline getting 737/321/and the c series to take 900 routes...dtw and msp shrinking.... how long before you can use Comair and Endeavor in the same sentence?

Yikes!!! probably somewhat true too. Delta to cut and burn...they already told 1/2 the pilot group to eff off.

How much more of a reduction in flying can MSP take before there is no more... in addition.. in August... ATL becomes the base with the largest number of 200 flights.. guessing that reduction will come out of DTW... If there ends up being 1 layoff anywhere in the system.....

I have no clue, maybe we'll have a clear picture after Compass is completely gone from MSP even though they already don't have much flying in MSP as it is. Is SkyWest going to see a reduction in flying out if MSP also? Delta seems to do their planning quarterly, so hopefully we can confirm or put to rest some of the rumors that have been floating around in the next few months. Sound's like it's going to be more mainline flying out of MSP though.
I know the 7th floor in the c tower always knows more than they can tell everyone.. but with the crap morale... hourly rumors.. and possible career futures at large.. it would be nice to hear something more comforting.. than hey.. have a piece of bbq chicken and you remember 9e is the best... **** in my ear and tell me its raining instead.

The regionals will be the testbed for single pilot operations, so I doubt they will go anywhere soon. It's just that Delta is playing musical airplanes/bases again.

They want the "premium" dual class product on high margin city pairs. Jacksonville, NC to Atlanta, GA isn't exactly a city pair to capture high yield business traffic. That's why the 900s are in NYC. But with the size of that new crewroom, it's hard to believe it will be a -200 only base.
