17-03 is really nothing more than a filler vacancy, in order to be able to continue to hire. New hires cannot be offered a position without it having been offered to a pilot already on property. So if you do the math on the number of pilots hired post 17-02, plus what's in the pipeline, my assumption is that they were out of spots.

At the C tower this past week management definitely made it clear something is coming and to expect it by August. Wouldn't confirm or deny multi class aircraft and other things.

FWIW we now have a brand new 900 sim in PHX. Should be up and running soon. It's also listed on trimweb. Assuming it's for new hires.

Lots of good responses to my question. I like both pos and neg. to the recruiter, I sincerely doubt they'd tell you if the music was stopping until they went public with it.

I'll say what they won't (unofficially of course) do the math and watch the trends... I hope all the ASA guys can land on their feet (or retire happily) It's a damn shame the Comair guys cost some of them Delta seniority numbers many years back...
