That looks like less gates than there are now. And what's with that taxiway layout? I see 31 is showing touchdown zone lights too... Somehow I'm guessing the final product will be much more underwhelming.

The only true solution is closing LGA and bull-dozing half of Jamaica Bay for more pavement at JFK.

Wouldn't matter how big the airport is, airlines would just stick more flights in there.

That rendering of LGA was the intial version released to the public.

In the updated version the west terminal keeps the same layout but the DL side retains roughly the same footprint as today with a proper concourse where the blast fence is today.
