According to OO thread, full ATL crj base by end of year and a 175 base by end of next year. Apparently pretty junior on the initial roll out. That will make our ATL recruiting carrot much weaker.

Delta’s just getting ready in case we vote no to the TA. Gotta have assets in place to continue operations when we go away.

Hahaha, good one. They're going to choke on the 45+ E175's they're going to have delivered next year, let alone any additional flying they end up with on top of that at United or AA.

Continuous Night Operations. It's a hybrid line of sorts, established and refined via the LOA process over the years. It's a combination of CDO trips and P3 reserve. Contractually gets you 1 more day off than a regular line, so 12, in this case. It's built later than the PBS schedules, and is built from CDO's in open time and then P3 to fill the schedule out. Contractually you can't trade to day flying from a CNO line, is one of the big downsides of it.

I commute on OO quite often, and they perform as well as EDV does.
I doubt they choke on anything. They are already 2.5 times bigger than we are, and hiring hasn’t slowed even a little. If things were to progress to the point there were only two regionals, it would be SKW and EDV. And SKW would be 5 times the size of EDV.

Because like it or not, they still do more CR2 flying in ATL than we do. Commuting out of ATL on an OO CR2 is a mess, if there's been any weather anywhere in the SE, since they don't have the ability to recover anything until they get a base there.
