12 days off was tied to forcing reserves into minimum 3 day work periods. Without one, the other won't come. That's that. This could have been its own LOA because it really doesn't relate to anything else in LOA 91. We got one for the other.

You are such a hypocritical dude. oh you don't care about the reserve thing but oh my you are completely ok with no co-domicile. No you can't have it both ways.
Yeah, I don’t think so. Hypocritical how? I’m not filing a grievance about the codomocile am I?

In the grand scheme of things I don’t think the ONE day you’re losing this month warrants a grievance from every single reserve pilot at the company, especially since reserves are still allowed the 2 day work period. It’s not like company is holding one over on you. They are out on things they wanted implemented as well. It’s a process. Relax. But who knows, maybe I’m just looking at the big picture. Sorry, I’ll go put my lime green “no flow no vote” lanyard on and fall back in-line with the rest of the cadre.

Your company just passed a new TA, you’re less than 24 hours away in paid more than anyone in the regional industry, how about you lighten up Francis.

As far as I’m concerned they can push the implementation of the 12 days off as long as they want if it means more time without the codomicile...which transportation from base to base still hasn’t been figured out btw.

I’m all about being paid for the work I do but if you’re actually filling a grievance over that you need to re-evaluate some things. Realize that we voted on this thing not more than 2 months ago. Act like, or at least try your very best to be a professional.
Its not a petty wage earner thing. It’s a contract thing. The company reps signed and the union reps signed. Now it needs to be honored. The grievance can be a group deal just like it was with the goat rodeo that was made out of reserve transparency. It’s not an unnecessary time waster for the union. It’s upholding the contract. Just like you would want if they made an error and didn’t pay you min day or any other contractual clause. What contract violation would be “too far” for you?

That's one fewer day I have at home with my family (in violation of the new contract). I'm already away from them 2/3 of the month. You seem to forget that part of the union's job is to take care of contract violations for us. You don't have to go to infinity and beyond to see that 11 days off violates the contract to our detriment.

I appreciate the company's transparency with the troubles with the software vendor, but 12 days off is 12 days off, not 11. Reserves should grieve that contract violation and let the union do their job.

Some of you should stop moaning so much. You get what you voted for. What I’d like to wish you all is a happy new year. And during this New Year weekend, say good bye to:

N8905F (traverse city plane)
N8913A
N8944B
N8960E
N8940E
N8964E
And N8921B

Peace out MSP200s

Considering 12 days off being tied to the software company was agreed to by the union during the implementation talks, grieving it is pointless whether you like it or not. Union already gave their blessing Just a ten minute waste of everyone's time.

3 of them are already in IGM... but I think 8907 coming from ATL last night put up a fight.

Also for all the people saying you should grieve the 12 days off. Please, fill out the form- but the union and company already met and hashed out the resolution to not getting 12 days off for reserves and lack of long call. Unless you all would like to have the 3 day min reserve stretch, and co domicile in order to get a monetary pay out for the lack of long call and lack of 12th day off.

Just realize that the deal takes time to implement. The union advocated that since we couldn't take advantage of the contract provisions we wanted, the company shouldn't be able to take advantage of the portions of the contact they wanted.

I don’t feel like wasting my precious days off filling out a grievance and doing work stuff. Be happy with your pay increase. Unlike what other people believe, I DONT work for mainline and I DONT “basically do the same job” as them. I’m happy with what I have and I understand with all these changes it takes time to implement them. I don’t see the big conspiracy against us I guess.

That's why I took 5 minutes during a sit at the airport to do it It seriously amazes me how triggered some pilots get by other pilots standing up for themselves.
