I'm guessing the 3000 out of training bonus won't be enough and the company will exercise the 10K, which is great for new hires. That puts a new hire at 57000. ($30 x 75 x 12 + 10k completion of training bonus + 20K retention bonus = 57000) and that's before any extra credit in any month and before per diem etc.... The FOs that are on property now are not making more than $39. If you compare their base wage: $38.97 x 75 x 12 plus the 23000 retention bonus that puts on property FOs at $58,073 before extra flying and per diem. I think that if the company exercises the 10K option then they may need to grease current FO palms as well. Last nights conference call sounded like it's already a done deal. I'm sure the reps are going to vote yes

Endeavor has major stagnation at the top level. Some were awarded a cherry sweet seniority number, and have no intention moving on, and I don't blame them. There should be some movement, but most are in it for the long run. Basically we need more airframes to make this place worth it. Again...reserve IS NOT A CHOICE! Not when bills have to be paid. JAN Mock bid out ...eleven year guy still six numbers from a line. Don't sugar coat it,.this place is still a sh!t show.
Your attitude and level of ignorance undermines any credible input you may have had in the conversation surrounding this TA.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. You are not an 11 year guy. You are a 6 year guy. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING moved in this industry for 5 years due to the age 65 change. So everybody at the regional level has to subtract 5 from their seniority for a realistic point of reference. Yes it sucks that we (myself included) got stuck in the worst possible (lowest paid) position in the industry for that 5 years, but we did. It is not Delta's fault, Endeavor's, Pinnacles, Mesaba's, Colgan's, or yours. It is just the way it happened.
Now, if you would like to NOT be on reserve, than the only way that will happen is with growth and/or movement. This TA will allow both, and I suspect we'll find out the specifics of the growth AFTER the vote is cast, or should I say, after the TA passes assuming it does. If it doesn't, who knows, we may not hear anything. They've eluded to the growth plans, and already committed to growth in the 200 fleet. If I had to wager a guess, I'd bet there's something in the works for two class airplanes too. They've stated they want to hire 60/month. We've been losing an average of one pilot/day or 30/month so 30 of those new hires would be for attrition. Our staffing model is 8-10 pilots/hull so the other 30 would allow them to bring 3-4 hulls online per month for the entire year. Just my $.02.
There IS something in this package for everybody, and after this TA the vast majority of us will be better off financially than with the JCBA and we WILL be better off in terms of QOL, reserve, and commutability. Those clamoring for dumping all this stuff and just brining back the JCBA must realize two things 1) that is not an offer on the table, and 2) that would result in a sizable pay CUT for most of us. So lets drop it and move forward.

Nope! eleven year guy regardless of your math. Don't preach stagnation to me. My vote is NO! If you think for one second this company isn't capable of returning our old JBCA or better, you're ignorant. RECORD PROFITS + REGIONAL PILOT SHORTAGE... the ingredients for success. Don't bendover again.
When it comes to resentment learn to deal with this and move on. I have heard Delta Air Lines is looking to see if you are deeply resentful during interview. The signs of which will most likely lead to them passing on your services.
On a different not the $39 per hour FO doesn't need a hike in pay just an upgrade. This package helps get bodies in the door. Bodies in the door helps aircraft come back from the desert. Aircraft coming back from the desert need captains. Those captains will be first officers who want to upgrade. The first officer upgrading will go from $39 per hour to something north of $70 depending on longevity. This $31 bump in pay will far exceed a increase in bonus to new hires. Growth is good and if this means upping bonus for new hires then I say "UP BONUS FOR NEW HIRES."

Are you loco? Wait, don't answer that. This IS NOT CONCESSIONARY! It is not bending over! It is BETTER than the old JCBA, with the possible exception of of the 401k match. I'll tell you one math equation I DO know: GREEDY ENTITTLED DCI PILOTS+DAL=NO BUENO. You are not operating in reality and you're wasting our time. With this I am done engaging with you. I'll leave it to the readers to assess whom is more credible.
Like Vilcas said, TA=more movement and growth. Movement and growth=more $$$. And all in exchange for showing up 15 minutes earlier which most of us probably do half the time anyway.

For those on the outside looking in I am pleased to report that people like this are in the minority. This point of view is the unfortunate byproduct of a terrible time in the airline industry exacerbated by manipulative management. This deal is a departure from those bad times. This deal takes us forward, maybe not as fast as we would like but it is in the right direction.

Good attitude, Vilcas and BATOL. It seems like your sentiment is the overwhelming majority voice at 9E. I mean, shoot, you guys perform better than most, you're now making more than most, you're moving on to Delta more than most...good news coming from 9E - congrats to those on property and those joining soon!
Thanks man. I like your handle 😎

Yes, thank you. If you're a perspective applicant or a new hire, please take the stuff on here with a grain of salt. It's a pretty narrow cross section that posts in here. Many have an axe to grind. Some don't even work here anymore. And most will not be happy unless they eventually get to say "see, I told you". Which of course they never will.

Yes this is concessionary, and it's been concessionary since the pilot group voted in the turd contract.
