Guys in DTW 900 CA with under 11 years longevity have 17 days off on Mock. For those unfamiliar with mock it's a guess at what line you might be awarded in schedule generator. For those considering Endeavor things are changing fast and the direction is good. What you find today you will not find 6 months from now, but baring major catastrophe it will be a lot better. We are talking about little to no reserve with upgrade times moving quickly in the direction everyone wants. There are already a decent number of senior FO who are going to bypass upgrade just waiting for class at Delta.

If you lost seniority in merger don't forget you lost seniority because of Bloch. This has nothing to do with new hires. Best thing is get your application tight and make the move to the next level. Endeavor is not a place to stay for a career. Endeavor is a stepping stone.

I did this and hardly picked up.

Kyle,

I agree but 60k is more that RJ captain used to make. Plus every thing is better at the next level. Work hard make the jump. Let whiners like Avroman and Yumyum cry about their sad lives while doing nothing to improve it.

Glad to hear it!

Surrprised nobody mentioned this yet, but the company put out a memo saying 53 -200s by the end of 2016, with plans to hire 600 next year. That's a growth of about 20 planes in year.

Check your company email. They finally put a number on the 200s, which I think may help people get off the fence if they are thinking of Endeavor, and also calm down the current pilot group with regards to speculation.

I've had a similar experience; Came over here from MQ and haven't looked back. As an FO there on third year pay, my gross pay for the year before I left was $42,768. I spent that entire year on reserve, living in base, and picked up an average of 12 hours per month above guarantee at 150%

As a May 2015 hire here, there are less than 10 people between myself and the most junior lineholder in NY. Considering just minimum guarantee, the retention bonus, per diem, and this latest LOA, I'm on track to make at least $47,540 at 9E my first year

(7 months of 75 hours at 25.2/hour)+(5 months of 75 hours at 30/hour)+($20,000)+(12 months of a conservative 150 hours of per diem at 1.70/hour)

This is just factoring minimum guarantee, my least lucrative month at this airline so far has been 81 hours of credit. So its easy to see a first year FO here on the cusp of, if not exceeding, $50,000 his/her first year.

We're all familiar with the inherently expensive costs of becoming a pilot, however I find it incredible that in just 4 years, the entry level wage for this job has literally doubled (My first year gross income as an FO was $25,402). I know this doesn't speak to a lot of the folks who aren't new to the industry, but I feel that good things are coming our way too, things along the lines of quicker upgrades and faster progression to the majors.

Anyone have an up to date estimate on how long a new hire will sit reserve? Schedules typically bid immediately after getting off reserve?
Chances of new hits getting JFK or LGA base?
