Great! They need to hold a vacancy every month in that case. Nothing wrong with providing more opportunities for FOs to upgrade each month!

There were 12 NYC 200 CA slots that went unfilled last vacancy and the union is trying to get another vacancy run to prevent new hires from getting those slots. Stay tuned....

Perhaps I came across against the Unions actions, I'm simply putting the info out there for perspective applicants that may be banking on a lighting fast upgrade. That's what these boards are for, putting out info that you're not going to hear from a recruiter.

It's the company's fault if they don't want to award someone with 25-50 hours of having the 1000 121 requirement. My last carrier only required FO's to have their time before they entered upgrade class. This should have been addressed last year when they started awarding fairly new hires upgrades over those within reach of the requirement.

What kind of dog is it? Is the dog pictured in their company ID?

Well hopefully all this rumored growth combined with increased attrition to the majors will result in plenty of upgrades for everyone.

Have confirmed from multiple sources that were present at the time, but apparently at that CJO event at the Delta museum in ATL last week...
What CJO event? What does CJO stand for here (from context, seems obvious it does not stand for conditional job offer here)? Also, how in the heck does one find out about these random yet obviously critical "events"? I'm on the DAL recruiting fb page, I keep check on the career expo page and this STILL got by me! I just checked the fb page since mention of this "CJO event" here and NOTHING! No mention of it whatsoever! So maddening! I would definitely make time to attend these things but I need to actually freaking KNOW about them so I can! Is there some secret DAL event notification outlet I need to coerce out of someone? Is there some painfully obvious source that I'm apparently too ignorant to see or what? Somebody please help! I am SO tired of missing these things!

Post it up! PM me! Whatever! I'm tired of feeling like the only one who didn't know! Rrrrrggghhhh!!!!

Haha it was an event HR did for those holding CJO's but still a few months out from starting. Think it's meant to make sure they fall in love and don't go running off somewhere else in the meantime. Looked kinda cool from the pictures, was at the Delta museum and there was some Delta leadership there with ours.
