Isn't Delta maxed on 50 seat scope?

I know there's some 50 seat to 76 seat trade math in their scope but I'd doubt Delta management would use it to get more 50 seat airplanes and less 76.

I didn't come up with the rumor, ask them. My rumor was the avros coming back, and that'll be a 2:1 trade in for the 76 seats

That exchange was tied to the 717, which is over. Yes, they're maxed, or very close to the 125 50 seat limit. That's not to say another carrier wouldn't park 50 seat flying, to staff more lucrative 2 class flying...

Bingo... especially if said carrier's 200 flying was suffering and could easily be covered by 9E...

The company is going to allow reserve drops with a red grid down to some other threshold. I guess that's about the best they could do, what else can we complain about?
