Also when it comes the time to bid, I have to bid for both(domicile & equipment)? My social security is not so high... 27** preferred base & equipment, NYC-CRJ9
Most of new hires when we resume hiring will go to 200 as 200 pilots already on property bid to the 900... and predicting reserve and upgrade times in the future is like picking lucky lottery numbers. Right now the most junior upgrade award went to a November 2015 hire. That’s almost 4 years by the time he finishes upgrade training.

I hear Southwest is hiring. I'd say welcome aboard, and don't waste your time on that DGI, keep your SWA app up to date and make that your goal.

Tpa is a very easy commute most of the time, I know several people that do it and I used to live there. You can also back door it through rdu to NYC if it ever gets weird there. (Like spring break) JetBlue is a great option to get up there also.

Good luck and welcome!

Speaking of RDU. I am going to be applying to airlines with the hopes of continuing to live in RDU. Endeavor is high on my list of 5 airlines for the 13 direct flights to each NYC and ATL. Is there a large amount commuting pilots from Raleigh to these locations or would it be a relatively easy commute?

NYC would be a much better commute. Less commuters and some of the flights are on Endeavor. ATL flights will be full with mainline jumpseaters, and your seniority will be better in NYC anyways.

I’ve seen a lot of Delta people on the RDU>ATL legs. FA’s and pilots.

I honestly believe it's one of the top 3 easiest commutes. I've only ever not got a seat coming home once. I jump occasionally, but I always get home. ATL is a bit harder.
