Well if you aren't going to work there why are you worried?

Let them know in advance so that someone else can get your slot. You don't need to tell them why you're canceling. "personal reasons". If you change your mind later, they'll get you back in.

Not sure, but if you go to the company website, left side, choose Endeavor Employee Directory, and scroll down to Base Manager/Duty Pilot, I bet they would know.

Anyone able to comment on the MSP-DTW commute for those of us who don't get MSP immediately out of training?

There are lots of two leg options. Many are on RJs, and I actually like that. That is because as a standby you get on last, but if you pink tag your bags you are not fighting for sparse overhead space. There is usually at least one 757 flight, too, and I don't think I've ever seen one full unless some event caused bumped pax.

You will get MSP very soon, I'm sure.

The nice thing about Endeavor is that if you don't get your base of choice initially in training, you will likely be able to bid it before training is over, or perhaps the bid after. No one seems to get "stuck" where they don't want for very long like they do at other places.

That isn't saying much when 75% of your pilots are based in DTW and NY. This is one problem 9E will have to overcome to continue to hire pilots in the future.

Is the jump hard to get for direct flights with mainline guys going back and forth between the DL hubs? A two leg commute might be slightly more than my constitution will handle.

I just want to make sure it won't leave a black mark on my record (since they are owned by Delta) or they won't make me pay the CTP class for canceling a reservation or something weird like that.
