What are you paid during initial training? Are hotels single occupancy? Rental car? What about re-current training?

-Pay is min guarantee, so $30 at 75 hours a month.
-Single occupancy hotel
-No car, but you don't need one. Shuttle is provided to/from HQ and you get positive space travel home every weekend.
-Re-current is single occupancy and I believe paid at 4 hours a day.

A flow or rather a lack of a flow seems like more of a personal issue with you and a couple of others on here. When I Jumpseat I don't feel the same sentiments from the majority of your peers that I meet.
Nice projection, but it has nothing to do with personal sentiments. If anything, you have some kind of personal issue with DL's lack of a flow. I think regional pilots are in general excellent candidates and Endeavor pilots are no exception. But DL just isn't going to go for a straight flow and be forced to take the few pilots at any given airline that they don't want to take. And no, that is not going to throw the company onto the liquidation steps because staffing has collapsed and mass cancellations are the order of the day until and unless DL embraces a flow, all the while mighty AA rolls to dominance in all things aviation because they have a flow. :roll eyes:

Competitive pay (which I hope keeps going up) and a strong path to DL that takes almost half the pilots there every 2-3 years is plenty to incentives new hires. Even if every airline adopted a flow, that wouldn't increase the number of available qualified pilots. Nor would every pilot sit around waiting for their number to flow anyway.

You're trying real hard to imply that if DL doesn't adopt a flow then they will rue the day they decided not to as their waterloo that caused the end of the airline. :roll eyes:

They will do just fine without a flow. I look forward to flying with many Endeavor alum in the future, which will be the case regardless the lack of a flow through. You're really just coming across as having a feeling of entitlement to a DL number and are salty that you have to earn it instead of being given it TBH.

Stupid question; when we go to EFBs, will the aircraft get a new weight and balance? It would be nice to remove some weight up front in the 200s so we could take jump seaters without having to do mental gymnastics to make it work.

Nice touch with the "roll eyes". I've said it before and I'll say it again, and maybe you'll hear me this time. I don't care personally. I'm 57 years old and I made the decision not to participate in the SSP for my own personal reasons. Had it been 5 years earlier I would've jumped at the chance, and I'd like to feel it would've turned out well for me. Again, I say it was my choice so there is no feeling of entitlement here. In fact I've always had to work very hard for everything I've gotten in life. I'm quite confident if you'd go backwards in this thread you'd see my post regarding these sentiments. But no, it's like you have an alarm on your phone that goes off whenever the word flow comes up, and suddenly you're here. There's a few of you that become very defensive about it. In some ways more so than those in control of the process. I'm just saying that I've talked to many of your peers about this topic and most are indifferent to the subject. Quite often it goes onto one of Comair. Which in my mind is apples to oranges. So call it whatever you want. Projecting I think you said. But maybe it's time to ask yourself why you're so passionate on this subject?

It's the koolaid they pass around.

I can kind of see why guys here are worried about flow or no flow. If delta is intransient on the flow, and not willing to give us more money, we wont fill classes and this'll crash an burn circa 2014 all over again. Regionals blow goat, and itll get worse if no help comes from mothership.

I love people that haven't contributed to this company and endure the hard times of the past, come on this forum and put down others that have been here for years. You "dude" should shut up and be grateful to the people that kept this company going long before you were here.

Not trying to ruffle feathers, but if things were so bad and you had to endure so much, why didn't you just jump when you had the chance? Honest question. Maybe the hard times weren't as hard to get through as you thought they was.

I read this quote recently, perhaps it's relevant for this discussion: "It is intellectually dishonest to look backwards with all the facts and judge the decisions that were made with almost none of the facts, or the facts that existed hidden in the normal cloud of endless speculation of what might happen." - Norm Coleman

Maybe a little more focus on the present and not so much on the past would change your outlook on the future.

Unless you have previous 121, at endeavor you need at least 2 years for the 1,000hrs 121, 2 more years as PIC to be eligible for interview, and about 2 more years after that for a class date in DL IF and only IF you pass the interview. Thats 6 years.

AMR will give you a class date without the interview in the same timeframe. There is no reason for a new hire to come here unless he REALLY wants Delta or NYC for whatever reason.
