As I read the memo posted on another site, the SSP said 144 OR 30% of new hires, whichever is less.
The 131 will be 30% of Delta's new hires for 2015. No broken promises, it just means 13 pilots will move over 4-6 weeks later than expected.
It's all in how you interpret things - you glazed over the part that said 9E will offer close to 350 Captain Upgrades in 2016 - 29+ per month! Why not talk about that?

Milk, this industry ebbs and flows so much over the course of 6, 9, 12 months, we need to just focus on the future.
The company certainly owned the errs of their way on ETD and delivered alternatives to stave attrition. How many ETD pilots were ultimately hired? A few dozen? How many has 9E hired or offered CJOs to in 2015? Close to 300? Retention payments and their DGI deal seems like the right formula.
Plus, again, anticipated 350 captain upgrades in 2016. But you go ahead and hold onto the past a little while longer.

While being wholly owned can be a double edge sword, I can't help but think it is going to be the WO that thrive over the next couple of years. Regional airline profit margins are razor thin, and WO's are viewed as cost centers not profit centers. There is little advantage to a mainline partner outsourcing its flying to publicly held companies that have shareholders to answer too. Watch the roadshow video on the new Mesa TA, they do a good job of explaining it IMO. Or maybe Im drinking too much Kool-Aid...

Just wait to be let down again at the end of 2016. Same folks that made all of the other promises.

Because he can't turn that into something negative about Endeavor. He can talk about the upgrade that Compass or PSA can offer but, he won't talk about the upcoming upgrades when these guys with the CJO leave for Delta. He only picks out the negative things when it comes to Endeavor.

Difference is you just know a name not the person. I never knew a JP from Colgan. Period. You must have missed me from your TUL commute. I was giving out autographs. Oh well, better luck next time.
Silver, I got the idea from the MSP CA who went to EK and put a pic. That was all. Did a pic hurt so much? It was still simple enough. But some just need something - anything - to pounce.
And look, it's the same 4 pilots who respond in anger. What I said wasn't too much a stretch. Compass et al offer a quicker advancement and perhaps a better opportunity for the next step. No reason to be a used car dealer salesman here.

THe sad part about you is that a couple people have said you actually aren't that bad of a guy in real life but you have a huge internet-toughguy syndrome. I guess when you hide behind a screen name it is easy to do that.

Isn't that cute, you asked around about me. I would tell anyone who asked on here who I am, but you won't will you?
